There are two known powerful giants in the car industry. The Bugatti Veyron and the Ferrari Enzo. These two cars are the most expensive super cars in the world. The Veyron is manufactured by the German company Bugatti which is a brand of the ever famous Volkswagen. The car got its name from Pierre Veyron who won the 24 hours of Le Mans way back in 1939 while competing for the original Bugatti Company. It was recognized as “Car of the Decade” by the famous television program of BBC, “Top Gear” in 2002. Bugatti was able to produce more than 200 units from 2002 to 2008. The Enzo on the other hand is manufactured by the prominent Italian car brand, Ferrari. It was named after the company’s founder Enzo Ferrari. Similar with Veyron, Enzo was also produced in 2002. Being the top 2 of their class these two cars got no other worthy rivals than each other.

The Bugatti Veyron is simply the most powerful, most expensive, and the fastest car in the world which is street-legal. It was tested and proven to reach a speed of over 400 km/h or 253 mph. It showcases a W16 engine having 16 cylinders in 4 banks of cylinders. It has also a very exotic appearance that never fails to draw the attention of everyone ever time it cruises the street. Meanwhile, Ferrari Enzo is considered as the second most expensive car in the world and also the second fastest street legal automobile. It boasts of its 12-cylinder engine that can produce a maximum down force of 775 kilos. It can reach a maximum speed of 301 km/h or 186 mph. The Enzo was built using F-1 technology that includes its sequential shift transmission and carbon-ceramic brake discs. However, it has an element which is not applicable to F-1 which is its active aerodynamics. The Enzo’s body structure is really unconventional. First look at it will immediately tell you that it is made for extreme speed and not to be driven by people with weak hearts. In addition, only two passengers can be accommodated because almost the entire body of the car is being used to house the engine and other integral parts. You will need 1 million dollars to buy an Enzo.

Now, it is pretty obvious that Bugatti Veyron surpasses the Ferrari Enzo by far in terms of speed, price, and horsepower. Enzo is second best to Veyron but there are really big differences.
